San Diego - Day 25 - March 8, 2015

Slept late today. Ron was going to make sure that he didn't miss his hour of sleep with the time change :). Called our parents and caught up with the news at home.  Went down to the beach again today but when we arrived it had a very different look. The fog had rolled in - this was about at 2 in the afternoon and it was hard to see anything. You can see the difference from the pictures that I posted yesterday.

Where'd the ocean go?  Notice you can't even see the water because of the fog

Foggy view of the beach

During the fog couldn't even see the pier just a mile down the beach

After the fog

Fog looming just off shore

After the fog lifted - in the middle that is Ron testing the waters. He said he was 20' closer to the Orient but I think he was spying some of the nubile young ladies in their skimpy bikinis

After the beach we  came home and showered off the sand.  Afterwards we went down to the Bare Back Grill on Mission Blvd. Enjoyed the BOGO beer, burgers and fries. Found out that our waiter Adam was from Buffalo, his girlfriend's parents live in Rochester. He went to Amherst High School and went to St. Benedict's Church, right by Sacred Heart. It is a small world!!!!  He said that one of the local bars - the PB Ale House - has a Buffalo Bills day each Sunday in the Fall.  He says there large Buffalo contingent in San Diego.  Gosh I wonder why?  Maybe we'll visit the ale house in November.

Loving the nice weather.  Sitting at the outdoor seating area waiting our meal.

Bar/restaurant across the street

Vacation is good!!!  Selfie.

Lucky I did 9 miles on the bike yesterday
